With walking comes a whole new level of trouble!  In June, we (Chris and I) were sick for like the entire month and then had to take a business trip to San Francisco.  Once again Eva travelled well and had fun with dad while I was at my meetings.

Eva's first Birthday.  Trip to San Antonio to see the Fischers.  Her second plane trip (first was to NJ and DC back in October 2009)...she traveled very well!

Where was I? April?

So much for posting a pic a day/week/month!  I have been taking photos though, just no time/energy to post!  

Here are some pics from Eva from her early walking days....April 2010.  Yes, that is dirt on her face.  She had a thing for taking the dirt out of the potted plants.  Most of it went on the floor, but some also went in her mouth!  Ugh!!

My first car purchased all by myself!  2003 Subaru Impreza WRX.  Such a fun zippy car.  Too bad it was a  PITA to get the carseat and ELF in and out of it!

We finally got around to planting Eva's first Christmas tree.  Now just cross your fingers that we won't kill it this summer!  We don't have a very good track record with pine trees!

Week 5/52: Winter Bleak

Decided that 365 photos was just too much pressure for me....so it's now going to be a photo a week. Hopefully it won't degenerate to a photo a month!
On my drive to work I pass through several fields. I find that I mark the passage of time by the state they are in. This photo pretty much sums up February....foggy mornings, with a hint of sunshine....foreshadowing the coming spring. One nice thing about living here is that winter is pretty much over by February. In the next couple of weeks the farmers will start planting potatoes--I can't wait!

20/365: clutter

I'm seriously considering doing a purge. I'm constantly fighting a losing battle with clutter. If I had less stuff, there wouldn't be as much clutter.

19/365: only thing worse than Monday is Tuesday.

Crazy how she can go from calm to crying in seconds. I didn't even pinch her today! To give her credit, she was feeling pretty crappy...I picked her up early from the nanny with a fever. Her first real cold! 7.5 months-I can't really complain!
