20/365: clutter

I'm seriously considering doing a purge. I'm constantly fighting a losing battle with clutter. If I had less stuff, there wouldn't be as much clutter.

19/365: only thing worse than Monday is Tuesday.

Crazy how she can go from calm to crying in seconds. I didn't even pinch her today! To give her credit, she was feeling pretty crappy...I picked her up early from the nanny with a fever. Her first real cold! 7.5 months-I can't really complain!

Another day at work.....

The shiny wheel of our new spin bike. Now if I could just find time to ride it. I guess I could have gotten in a quick spin in the time it took me to take the photo and write this blog. But then again, I was interrupted by a crying baby during this post....that would have been harder to deal with mid-spin. (that's what I tell myself anyway)

When I used the auto setting on my camera this came out way too real. Could see the dust and smudges on the wheel! Not sure what I did to get this. I wish iPhoto would also import my camera settings.

This is turning out to be 365 days of the ELF taken on my iPhone! The iPhone is quick and easy, and the ELF never complains about having her picture taken....that may be be the secret to going the entire year.

My poor amaryllis keeps toppling over--breaking stems and flowers off. This is one that I rescued. I love taking flower pictures.

Jan 4: Long Day

Today was a crazy day. Long day at work and then had to bring work home.

Took these shots of ELF with my iPhone. These low light iphone pics have taught me about ISO. Since the iphone doesn't have a flash, I'm assuming it increases the "ISO" to get enough light to the sensor....resulting in these soft grainy shots.

Everything is new and fascinating

We didn't get out much this weekend, so Eva's been my main subject. Her fascination with the stream of water and bubbles was sweet! It's amazing to see the world for the first time through ELF's eyes.

A year in photos

So clearly, the blogging about life with our daughter didn't catch on. It seems I haven't had the time or the mental power to compose a thoughtful coherent post. Maybe I'll do better with photos!!! I was inspired by "365 Photo Blog Project; 2010" on Facebook and http://photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/. Plus, for Christmas I splurged on a new camera--Canon G11! (Thanks Mom and Dad for your contributions!!)
