in the beginning....

I've been toying with the idea of a blog for years. First it was supposed to be a venue where I could bitch about work, but then I realized that anonymity is never guaranteed and perhaps I better keep those thoughts to myself. Then when I got pregnant I thought it would be a great way to chronicle my pregnancy, but the 9 months flew by so fast and there just never seemed to be time. And now, I'm hoping it will be a way to chronicle my family's life.... Seeing as our little ELF child is almost 2 months old and I have yet to post, we're off to a great start!
